I'm working on evangelism/church planting/missions seminars for DRCongo in Africa. The leaders' conference will run August 10-14. I'm reminded that the Church is sent into the world. We are called to go.
"Sent" is who we are if we belong to Jesus (John 20:21). "Go" is what He told us to do (Matt. 28:19). Actually, He told us to make disciples of all nations... AS we go. The Church is gathered together to be sent out.
Too often, we expect people to COME to us. Most never will. Jesus tells us to GO to them, so they can COME to Him. Then they will also GO.
