Back to Uganda...Via Arkansas!

It's been a busy just-over-a-month at home. I preached at the Kahnawake Pentecostal Church for their Christmas service and joined them for their banquet. So good to be back with people I pastored for 15 years. And so good to see growth and new faces! Then I preached the first service of the new year  at Centro Cristiano Evangelistico in Montreal. I loved how the people became almost indignant as I shared the potential for the African Church to become a force in global missions. They wanted to be VERY sure that I understood Latin Americans also are being used to reach peoples and nations with the gospel, and that their church wants to be a part of that! Last Sunday I was "home" to preach at Laval Christian Assembly.  Home is good! People were so responsive to the message (from Psalm 139) that God knows us, is with us, and has a plan for us . . . so it's only right and reasonable that we surrender to Him as He changes and leads us. I'm looking forward to ministry this Sunday at Greenfield Park Pentecostal Church on the South Shore of Montreal. Oh yes . . . and in December there was also a great chapel service at Institut Biblique du Quebec.
I’ve spent considerable time over the past month working on program development and preparation for the “40 Days of Missions” course coming to Missions Transformation Centre MTC) in Uganda Feb. 1-Mar. 12. Have a look at the new MTC web site: http://www.mtcuganda.org/
And now it’s time to pack again. I leave Monday for Arkansas to attend a “Leader’s Intensive” version of the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. These 10 days of study will better equip me to mobilize and train others for global missions. I’ll be home just overnight before leaving on Jan. 28th for the “40 Days of Missions” at MTC in Uganda.  Please pray!
